Kayaking

Kayaking is different from canoeing in that it uses single person kayaks with double-ended paddles and the paddler (person who is in the boat) sits down.

Participants often get cold and wet, therefore suitable clothing must be worn.

Providing conditions are not too cold or windy, this activity can take place throughout the year.
